Monty Python and the Holy Grail is a 1975 film written by the comedian group known as Monty Python. The story is about King Arthur recruiting knights throughout England. After finding his Knights of the Round Table(Sir Bedevere the Wise, Sir Lancelot the Brave, Sir Galahad the Pure, Sir Robin the Not-Quite-So-Brave-As-Sir-Lancelot, and the aptly-named Sir Not-Appearing-in-this-Film) and heading towards Camelot, King Arthur is contacted by "God" to go on a quest to seek out the Holy Grail.
